Frequently asked questions

How much does professional live streaming cost in NYC?
It's priced per event around crew and camera count, number of rooms, duration, connectivity needs, remote presenters and post-event editing. A single-camera webcast is the entry point; multi-camera hybrid conferences with redundancy are considerably more. Send your run of show for a firm number.
How many cameras do I need?
One or two for a single presenter, three for a panel, four or more for a keynote with an audience or IMAG. The venue's sightlines matter as much as the format.
Can you use the venue's internet?
If testing shows a dedicated wired connection with enough upload headroom and the right ports open, yes. If not, we bring bonded cellular or Starlink.
What happens if the internet fails during the event?
We design so a single failure doesn't end the broadcast — an independent backup path, backup encoding, and local recording that continues regardless of connectivity. We don't promise zero downtime.
Can you provide backup internet?
Yes — bonded cellular across multiple carriers, Starlink, or both, as a primary or an automatic failover.
Can you stream to Zoom, Teams, YouTube or a private page?
Yes, to any of them, and to several at once. We can also bridge a produced program into a Zoom or Teams session for interactive participants.
Can the event be private?
Yes — password, unique per-viewer link, company SSO, allow-listed domains, or a registration gate, confirmed with your IT team during planning.
Can remote speakers participate?
Yes — with mix-minus so they don't hear themselves, a return feed of the room, and a scheduled technical check beforehand.
Can you integrate PowerPoint and play video?
Yes — slides are taken as a clean feed and composited into the program, and pre-recorded video is played from our system on cue.
Can you provide captions?
Yes — automatic or human CART captions, on-screen or as a separate feed. We don't make formal accessibility-compliance guarantees without review.
Can you record the event, and edit it afterward?
Yes — a program recording as standard, ISO recordings of each camera on request, and edited sessions, highlights and social clips as deliverables.
How long does setup take?
A single-camera webcast might be an hour or two. A multi-camera conference with IMAG and connectivity coordination can be a full day or an evening before.
Can you work with the venue's AV company?
Regularly — we take a program or clean feed from their switcher and handle streaming, or provide cameras and hand them a clean feed. Roles are agreed in advance.
Can you provide a clean feed to press?
Yes — a graphics-free clean feed and a mult of clean audio alongside the produced program feed.
How far in advance should we book?
A week or two for a simple webcast; three to six weeks for multi-camera, hybrid, or anything needing dedicated connectivity.
Do you work outside NYC?
Yes — Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey routinely, and Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles and Chicago for multi-city and destination events.
Can you stream outdoors or from a golf course?
Yes — bonded cellular and Starlink for connectivity, tested on site, with a field power plan.
