Webcast Production in New York

A webcast is a one-to-many broadcast built for a large, mostly passive audience. We produce the video and manage the platform.

New York Live Streaming

A webcast is a one-to-many broadcast: a produced video and audio program delivered to a large audience that mostly watches rather than participates, usually with registration, moderated Q&A and an on-demand recording afterward. It differs from a Zoom or Teams meeting, where everyone can potentially be seen and heard. New York Live Streaming produces the video side — cameras, switching, graphics, audio, encoding, redundancy — and configures the webcast platform for registration, access control, Q&A moderation and analytics. This format suits investor presentations, quarterly updates, large training sessions, association meetings and any event where a clean, controlled broadcast matters more than open discussion.

Many events use a combination: a produced program feed pushed into a webinar platform so the audience gets broadcast quality and the organizer keeps registration and Q&A tools.

What we handle

  • Cameras, switching and a technical director for a produced look
  • Presentation and video playback integrated into the program
  • Professional audio with a dedicated broadcast mix
  • Encoder, redundant connectivity and stream monitoring
  • Platform configuration: registration, access, Q&A moderation queue, analytics
  • Recording and same-day or edited on-demand publishing

Capabilities we plan and integrate

  • Viewer registration

Pre-event registration gate that collects attendee details before granting stream access.

  • Audience Q&A & moderated chat

Structured question intake from in-room and online audiences, screened by a moderator before reaching the stage or host.

  • PowerPoint / presentation integration

Presentation graphics taken as a clean feed (HDMI/SDI/NDI) and composited into the program with picture-in-picture or full-frame.

  • Viewer analytics

Concurrent viewers, watch time, geography, and device data from the streaming platform, compiled into a post-event report.

  • Backup / redundant streams

A second encoder and network path configured as an automatic or manual failover for the primary stream.

  • Recording, archive & video-on-demand

Same-day or edited recordings published to a private or public library for on-demand viewing after the event.

  • Private / password-protected streams

Access limited by password, unique link, SSO, or allow-listed domains depending on the platform in use.

Capabilities are scoped and confirmed per event. We do not claim certifications or assert a feature that has not been validated for your setup.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a webcast and a live stream?
In practice the terms overlap. 'Webcast' usually implies a structured corporate or institutional broadcast with registration and a defined program; 'live stream' is the broader term for any live video sent over the internet. The production requirements are the same.
Can viewers register before the webcast?
Yes. We configure a registration page that collects the details you need and controls who receives the viewing link. Registration data and attendance can be exported afterward.
How is audience Q&A handled?
Questions come in through the platform and land in a moderation queue. A moderator screens and forwards them to the host or stage. Questions can stay private to the panel or be shown on screen.
Do we get a recording and viewer analytics?
Yes. A program recording is standard. Platform analytics — peak concurrent viewers, average watch time, geography, registration-to-attendance — can be compiled into a short post-event report.
