New York Live Streaming

New York Live Streaming produces professional multi-camera live streams and webcasts for organizations across New York City and the surrounding metro area. A typical engagement includes cameras and operators, a switched program feed with graphics and lower thirds, a dedicated audio mix, encoding, and a monitored connection to the platform your audience uses — Zoom, Teams, YouTube, Vimeo, a private page, or several at once. Companies hire us for town halls, conferences, investor days, product launches and hybrid meetings where the stream has to work the first time, in front of an audience, with no second take.

What a professional live stream actually involves

The camera is the visible part. Most of the work that keeps a stream on air is audio and networking. We plan the signal path end to end: microphones into a mixer, a broadcast mix that is separate from the room PA, presentation graphics taken as a clean feed from the venue or the client's laptop, a switcher and technical director cutting the program, an encoder, and at least one monitored route to the internet.

Before the event we test the venue's upload bandwidth, check whether the network blocks the ports and protocols the platform needs, and decide whether venue Ethernet is trustworthy enough to be the primary path or whether we bring our own connectivity. On show day a crew member watches encoder health, bitrate and the destination status for the entire broadcast.

Full production or one piece of it

Not every event needs a full crew. We are regularly booked for part of a production alongside a venue's in-house AV team or an agency:

  • Streaming and encoding only, taking a program feed and audio from another vendor's switcher
  • Cameras and switching only, handing a clean feed to the house system
  • A streaming engineer and connectivity package for a production that already has video and audio handled
  • Audio only, or presentation management only, for a hybrid meeting

If you already have part of the setup, tell us what you have and we will quote the gap.

Recording and post-event video

Every production can record the switched program with graphics, and can also record each camera in isolation (ISO) so any angle can be re-cut later. One event becomes a full-program recording, individual session or speaker files, short social clips, and a highlight edit — often months of usable content from a single day.

Capabilities we plan and integrate

  • Multi-camera switching

Live cut between multiple professional cameras with a hardware or software switcher and a dedicated technical director.

  • Program recording

Full recording of the switched program feed, with graphics, for archive and post-event distribution.

  • ISO camera recording

Isolated recording of each camera independently so any angle can be re-cut in post-production.

  • PowerPoint / presentation integration

Presentation graphics taken as a clean feed (HDMI/SDI/NDI) and composited into the program with picture-in-picture or full-frame.

  • Lower thirds & titles

Speaker name/title graphics, section titles, countdown and holding screens, and sponsor bugs driven from a graphics operator.

  • Professional audio / sound reinforcement

Wireless and wired microphones, a digital mixer, a dedicated audio engineer, and separate broadcast and room mixes.

  • Multi-destination simulcasting

One encoded program distributed to several destinations at once (e.g. YouTube, LinkedIn, and a private page).

  • Stream monitoring

Continuous monitoring of encoder health, bitrate, dropped frames, and destination status throughout the broadcast.

  • Recording, archive & video-on-demand

Same-day or edited recordings published to a private or public library for on-demand viewing after the event.

Capabilities are scoped and confirmed per event. We do not claim certifications or assert a feature that has not been validated for your setup.

Frequently asked questions

How much does professional live streaming cost in NYC?
Single-camera webcasts from a fixed room start lower; multi-camera productions with graphics, professional audio and redundant connectivity are more. The main cost drivers are camera and crew count, number of rooms, event duration, whether you need backup internet, and post-event editing. Send the run of show and venue and we will give you a firm number.
Can you use the venue's internet, or do you bring your own?
Both, depending on what testing shows. If the venue can provide a dedicated wired connection with enough upload headroom and the right ports open, that becomes the primary path. If it can't, or if the event is high-stakes, we bring bonded cellular or Starlink as the primary or as an automatic backup.
What happens if the internet fails during the stream?
We design around single points of failure rather than promising zero downtime. That usually means a second internet path on a different medium, a backup encoder, and local recording that keeps rolling regardless of connectivity so nothing is lost even in a worst case.
Can you stream to Zoom, Teams and YouTube at the same time?
Yes. One encoded program can be sent to several destinations simultaneously, or bridged into a Zoom or Teams session so remote participants stay interactive while a broader audience watches a one-way stream.
How far in advance should we book?
For a straightforward single-room webcast, a week or two is often workable. For multi-camera conferences, hybrid events with remote speakers, or anything needing dedicated connectivity coordinated with a venue, three to six weeks gives time for a site check and rehearsal.
