Multi-Camera Live Streaming

More than one camera, cut live by a technical director, with isolated recordings of every angle.

New York Live Streaming

Multi-camera live streaming means several professional cameras covering an event from different angles — a wide master, presenter close-ups, audience and panel shots, and often a specialty or moving camera — cut together live by a technical director on a switcher. It gives a stream the pace and clarity of television instead of a single locked-off wide shot. New York Live Streaming provides the cameras, operators, switcher, graphics and audio, and records each camera in isolation so the footage can be re-cut in post-production.

A typical camera plan

  1. Camera 1Wide master — full stage, always safe to cut to
  2. Camera 2Presenter close-up on a long lens from front of house
  3. Camera 3Audience, panel two-shots, and reaction
  4. Camera 4Specialty — handheld, jib, or a roaming shot

An example only — not every event needs four cameras. Panels and performances often need more; a single presenter may need two.

Why ISO recording matters

The live cut is one version of the event. Recording every camera in isolation means an editor can go back to any angle — the close-up you didn't cut to, the audience laugh you missed — and build a cleaner recording for on-demand use. It also protects against a mistimed cut during a critical moment.

Capabilities we plan and integrate

  • Multi-camera switching

Live cut between multiple professional cameras with a hardware or software switcher and a dedicated technical director.

  • ISO camera recording

Isolated recording of each camera independently so any angle can be re-cut in post-production.

  • Program recording

Full recording of the switched program feed, with graphics, for archive and post-event distribution.

  • Lower thirds & titles

Speaker name/title graphics, section titles, countdown and holding screens, and sponsor bugs driven from a graphics operator.

  • Professional audio / sound reinforcement

Wireless and wired microphones, a digital mixer, a dedicated audio engineer, and separate broadcast and room mixes.

Capabilities are scoped and confirmed per event. We do not claim certifications or assert a feature that has not been validated for your setup.

Frequently asked questions

How many cameras does my event actually need?
A single fixed presenter can work with one or two. A panel usually wants three so you can hold a wide, a speaker, and a two-shot. Conferences with IMAG screens, performances, and award shows generally need four or more. The venue's sightlines and screen positions matter as much as the format.
Do you provide camera operators or use locked-off cameras?
Both. Key positions — close-ups, roaming shots — are operated. Wide and safety angles can be locked off or on PTZ heads controlled from the switcher position to reduce crew count.
Can we get the individual camera recordings?
Yes. ISO recordings of each camera are provided as media files alongside the switched program recording.
Can you add instant replay or slow motion?
For sports and some performances, yes — that is a specific add-on with its own hardware and an operator. Tell us during planning so it is scoped correctly.
