New York Live Streaming provides live streaming, webcast and event broadcast production throughout the five boroughs. NYC events bring a consistent set of logistical factors — tight load-in windows, freight elevator scheduling, certificate-of-insurance requirements, house AV and, at some venues, union labor rules — that we plan for during pre-production rather than discovering on site. Corporate work concentrates in Manhattan; conferences, cultural events and sports run across Brooklyn, Queens and beyond.
Working with house AV and venue rules
At venues with an in-house AV company or specific labor rules, we scope our role to complement theirs: take a program and audio feed from the house switcher and handle streaming and connectivity, or provide cameras and hand back a clean feed. Roles are agreed in the production meeting so there's no overlap on show day.
Common NYC event types
- Corporate town halls, investor days and conferences in Midtown and the Financial District
- Press conferences and product launches
- University and institutional ceremonies and lectures
- Cultural, nonprofit and gala events across the boroughs
- Government and public meetings requiring an archive
Local production considerations
- Many NYC hotels and conference venues have narrow load-in windows and require freight elevator reservations — we confirm these before scheduling crew
- Some venues require a certificate of insurance naming the venue, filed days in advance
- Certain venues have an in-house AV provider or house labor rules; we plan to work alongside them and take or provide feeds cleanly
- House Wi-Fi at large venues is shared and often filtered — we test upload under load and plan a dedicated or brought-in connection
- Street-level parking and equipment staging is limited; we plan cart routes and dock timing per venue
Frequently asked questions
Do you cover all five boroughs?
Yes — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island, plus Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey.
Can you work with our hotel's in-house AV company?
Regularly. We take feeds from their switcher and handle streaming, or provide cameras and hand them a clean feed. We coordinate roles in advance.
Our venue only has shared Wi-Fi. Is that a problem?
It usually isn't reliable enough for a production stream. We test it, and if it won't hold up we arrange a dedicated wired connection or bring bonded cellular/Starlink.
How much lead time do NYC venues need?
For load-in windows, COI filing and any dedicated connectivity, three to six weeks is comfortable. Shorter timelines are workable for simpler single-room webcasts.
